Caitlin Glore has never met a bookstore that she didn’t like… Well, Caitlin Glore has only ever met one bookstore that she didn’t like, and that’s only because they didn’t have a Young Adult section. She is passionate about her YA and her fantasy, and she loves discovering new female authors. When she isn’t girl-powering it up in far-off, distant worlds, she enjoys cooking, writing, gaming, and organizing conventions. Her bookshelf’s name is Todd.
Caitlin’s favorite authors include Sarah J Maas, Laini Taylor, Susan Dennard, and Tamora Pierce.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Throne of Glass are among her favorite series.
If her bookshelves could talk, Cynthia Jerkins’s bookshelves would tell a tale of girl with rather disparate tastes in literature. Rumor has it the Western and the Urban Fantasy shelves are discussing trading heroes, the Mystery section is plotting to infiltrate the Sci-Fi, and the Young Adult section is demanding a larger territory. Cynthia craves diversity in her fiction, preferring to seek out stories showcasing groups often marginalized in mainstream literature, such as women, people of color, and LGBTQ representatives, among others. On the occasions when she can be found without a book in her hand, Cynthia is usually found experimenting in the kitchen, exploring new worlds via various gaming platforms, or playing with her pup, Niniel.
Cynthia’s favorite authors include Daniel Jose’ Older, Catherynne M. Valente, Terri Windling, and Garth Nix.
Her favorite literary worlds to get lost in include: The Bordertown Anthologies, The Old Kingdom, and A Court of Thorns and Roses.
